Artwork
Some of the art for The Silk Road Allies comes from a single culture. Some of it blends motifs from China and Italy, like this Chinese logo created by Marina Bonomi and Tiziano Baracchi. It shows the Chinese dragon (with 5 toes signifying the Emperor) and the Roman eagle embracing the pearl of perfection. You'll see this image marking some of the Silk Road Allies material that gets posted in other venues online.

Sabeta Writing-Craftsman
Back in 2010, papyruscrow drew Elizabeth Barrette (ysabetwordsmith) as a Mongolian, in black-and-white and
full-color. The elaborate headdress signifies a woman of
high rank, and the scroll reads "Sabeta Writing-Craftsman"
in Phags-pa script. While these images predate the establishment of the shared world setting, they seemed like
a very good match for it and are therefore included here.
